Leadership Team
Michelle O’Herron
Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Michelle has a BS in Biology, an MS in Conservation Biology, and 20 years of experience working with a variety of government and nonprofit organizations in the areas of science communication, technical and grant writing, events and outreach, program/project management, and landscape-scale partnership strategy and facilitation.
Previously, she was a project manager at the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy and before that, worked in diverse capacities on behalf of the National Park Service, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, and the University of Maryland Environmental Finance Center. She is an expert in multi-stakeholder environmental collaboratives, having played a lead role in the development and implementation of the East Bay Stewardship Network, Joshua Tree Conservation Coalition, One Tam, and Redwoods Rising.
Sharon Farrell
Partnership Strategy
Sharon Farrell consults as a Strategic Advisor for the national Stewardship Network and other collaborative stewardship partnerships throughout California. Prior to this, she worked for the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy for 20 years, most recently as the Executive Vice President of Projects, Stewardship & Science. Sharon and her team led the organization's project design and delivery, conservation initiatives, community science, restoration, and stewardship programs.
Jessica W. McClosky
Web Strategy and Design
Jessica oversees design and development of all web-related content and projects for O’Herron & Company. She holds a BS in Psychobiology, and has been designing, building, and managing websites since the early days of the internet. She is proficient in HTML, CSS, a variety of content management systems (e.g., Drupal, WordPress), Adobe Creative Cloud, digital accessibility standards compliance, and more.
Jerell Price
Chief Operating Officer
Jerell is responsible for all day-to-day administrative functions for the firm, including marketing, finance, HR, and IT. He holds a BA in Political Science and an MBA, and has close to 20 years of experience in professional services and technology, including previous leadership roles at Booz Allen Hamilton, Intel, and Cisco Systems.
O'Herron & Company also supports copyediting, website and graphic design, GIS, and other services as needed.
